Last Days in Charleston

10/26 - 10/30/12
KOA
Mt. Pleasant/Charleston,  NC

Part 4 of 4

Trying to get caught up on the journal.

Yea!......A carriage tour of Charleston today.  A magnificient city.

Our tour guide was excellent, keeping us entertained with history and stories of Charleston.
It was obvious that she really liked her job the way she treated her horses and being so informative.  She has been doing carriage tours for 26 years.

This horse that passed us is very famous.  If you remember, a few weeks ago, or maybe a month or so ago, there was a mule stuck in the mud and the Marines Helicopter had to lift up this very mule to safety.
As you can see the mule is fine and back on the job.

The have everything is this city.

A tour of the only tea plantation in the United states.

The tree is enormous

Thirteen of us to go all the way around the tree

A white squirrel. Not real clear, he was a bit skittish.

We also so one in Kentucky last spring.

Halloween Party, just a couple of pictures.

That's it for today.

Safe travels to all

Nancy
